Welcome to missmaebell. I’m so glad you found your way here and that you want to know more about me! I’m Mary Anne and I am a full time student, part time blogger living in Hattiesburg, MS. I am a psychology major and plan on getting my PhD (or maybe PsyD) in Clinical Psychology. This personal style blog started as a whim but has become a big part of my life. My whole life I’ve felt trapped…trapped in a body I didn’t love, a mind that betrayed me, creativity that couldn’t be expressed, and a town that stifled me. <br>
This blog began on a whim, but started a journey to discover myself. Along the way I’ve learned to love and appreciate everything I once thought trapped me. Life is what you make it, and I plan on making it great.

Q: How long have you been taking outfit pictures?
A: I stumbled into fashion blogging in March of 2011.
Q: Why don’t you want to work in fashion?
A: This blog is really just an outlet for me. I am passionate about fashion and expressing myself, but it isn’t what I want my career to be. While I admire people in the fashion industry greatly, I know I could never be satisfied in this field. It has always been my dream to help people, which is why I plan on being a psychologist. I think this is partly what makes my blog so different from other personal style blogs. I love to use this blog as a way to speak up about issues I am passionate about, especially body shaming.
Q: You aren’t the size of a typical fashion blogger.
A: Nope! That’s one of my favorite things about this site. I love me. Seriously, though. Have you met me? I’m funny, crafty, kind, intelligent…Who the heck cares what size pants I wear?
Q: Who made your graphic?
A: The incomparable Jason Le Viere, who is one-half of Click Boutique and Gallery!
Q: Who takes your pictures?
A: It depends on the day! Most days either Jason or my mother take my pictures, although I have had many different photographers :) I am also trying to get better with a tripod!
