This week I fell in love with a baby, found a lot of cool family documents, crafted, decorated Click with King Cake babies, and met an Otter.

Sorry I didn’t have a post for you yesterday! I spent the day at Boswell, which was actually really fun and interesting. I enjoyed the interactions, but I also enjoyed learning about manufacturing! How random! I had no idea I would learn so much about things that aren’t related the psychology.

This suitcase is also one of our recent discoveries. I love the “AWG” on it. Those were my great uncle’s initials. I am hoping Becca will teach me how to make it into a table, like she did! So, I’m not sure if it’s the suitcase or the outfit..but does this ensemble seem really 50s to anyone else?

Today’s Outfit: Adventures in Memory Lane

Lately, I’ve been finding the coolest family documents. Last night while I was searching for a book in my parent’s bookshelf I found an album of really old family history. I learned that my great grandmother was a woman with “an infectious giggle and unique way of expressing herself” I also found her husband’s (my great grandfather’s) honorable discharge papers.

I’ve also discovered several old cameras. I only have hopes for 1 as far as getting it to work again, though. The rest I plan to display on my bookshelf. I am a HUGE sucker for anything with a story, so while going through all this stuff is exhausting (more for my parents), it is also extremely exciting! I just wish I had more room to put all this stuff. I am excited for several DIY projects using some of my found items :) I just need some free time to get it done! I’ll be sure to share them with you when I finish :)

Well, I have to finish two papers tonight and prepare my activity for Boswell tomorrow. I am really excited to go, actually. I hope they enjoy my activity! Alright, talk to you guys soon!
